NutriVital Starflower Oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the blue flowers of the starflower plant, also known as borage. Borage grows wild throughout North Africa and Europe and has long been used in traditional medicine.

The fatty acid composition of starflower oil is unique and includes the highest known concentration of GLA of any plant known to man – twice as much as evening primrose oil. This makes it a popular choice in cases of inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, and skin health.
